Profile:

Comprehensive services will be provided in the areas of:

•Physical therapy - to help the patient achieve maximum motor control strength, balance, and mobility.

•Occupational therapy - to help the patient complete everyday functional activities of daily living.

•Speech-language therapy - to assess cognitive and communication functions and to improve language skills and swallowing.

•Psychiatry - to assist with mood disturbances and recommend medications if needed.

•Psychology - to assist with treatment of adjustment difficulties and other psychological issues that can develop during stroke rehabilitation.

•Nutrition - to design an appropriate diet, based on the individual's capabilities for swallowing.
